    1980 Tartan 37

It’s a slim chance that even the greenest sailor won’t know the names Sparkman & Stephens and Tartan Yachts. In the late 1970s, S&S produced the design for a 37 foot cruiser/racer to which almost 500 hulls were eventually built by Tartan – an impressive production run for a high quality cruising boat.  The 1980 Tartan 37 is a classic Sparkman & Stephens design and quality construction by the venerable Tartan Yachts.   The excellent sailing manners, pleasing lines and rich interior teak wood work of the T37 have become Tartan trademarks.   A swift hull shape sails well but also accommodates “gunk holing” in areas where normal fixed keel vessels can’t go. Her skeg hung rudder and keel/centerboard configuration make her ideal for shallow water cruising areas.  Only 4' 2" Draft when the keel is pulled up.  Below decks you immediately recognize the hand crafted teak interior with a very functional layout for offshore sailing and dockside entertaining.  Her Timeless Classic lines and Elegant Black Hull draw attention wherever she goes.

Angelle is the perfect example of a meticulously maintained and consistently sailed yacht. Her owner sails every Saturday out of Marina del Rey and has a professional team for upkeep. She comes with 3 sets of sails and the most recent are 6 months old including a full batten mainsail, roller furling genoa and a brand new ayso kite. Her Perkins 50hp engine was pulled out of the yacht in 2015 and fully rebuilt and shows and runs amazingly. The teak decks have also been fully replaced and continually kept to the highest standards with a beautiful varnish inlay. There are so many more extras and Angelle has absolutely been loved and cared for with an open checkbook mentality. She is a true diamond and if you love a well built, fabulously maintained sailing yacht you must not miss visiting us.

A rare west coast find! Currently located in San Pedro at Cabrillo Marina with a transferable slip. Not only are sailboats with a pilothouse hard to find out here, but it's even harder to find one built as well as a Nauticat. There has been allot of recent upgrades on this unique boat from the Stern Thruster, Lithium Batteries, Electric head, LED Lighting, Engine work and the list goes on... Anastasia is considered to be the "Grand Old Lady," with more than 1290 hulls being produced between the late 1970's and today.
